With so many other audio players, why was Captioned Audio Player created?

    Captioned Audio Player was created with maximizing functionality and customizability in mind, while reducing unnecessary fluff. This means minimizing Captioned Audio Player's screen space so you can focus on other tasks, allow highly customizable settings, and the ability to speed up or slow down audio according to personal preference. Moreover, while there are captioned video players online, there are no other compact, offline captioned players specifically for audio like Captioned Audio Player is.
